3. How we use your information

4. Cookies, pixels & advertising technologies

We use first-party analytics (Google Analytics) and, to measure and deliver advertising, we place or intend to place advertising tags ("pixels") from the following partners. These partners receive online identifiers (such as cookie IDs, device identifiers, and IP address) to help us reach past visitors and measure results:

We configure Google Consent Mode and, for applicable partners, restricted / limited data-use settings, and we gate advertising tags based on your choices and the GPC signal.

5. "Sale" or "sharing" of personal information

We do not sell your personal information for money. However, our use of advertising pixels to show you TrutherCon ads on other platforms may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising / cross-context behavioral advertising under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA), and similar state laws. You have the right to opt out (see Section 6). We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

How to exercise them:

7. Global Privacy Control (GPC)

If your browser or extension sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of the sale/sharing of personal information for that browser, and we suppress advertising tags accordingly — no additional action needed.

8. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Analytics data is retained on a limited rolling basis; purchase records are retained as required for tax and accounting.

9. Email & SMS communications

You can unsubscribe from marketing email at any time via the link in any message. If we offer SMS in the future, it will be opt-in only, and you can text STOP to opt out.

The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and we do not knowingly sell or share the information of anyone under 16.

11. EEA / UK visitors

If you are in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, advertising and non-essential cookies are turned off by default and are not enabled unless and until you provide consent. We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
